Dr David McKeag is an ophthalmologist with dedicated subspecialty training in oculoplastic surgery. Oculoplastic surgery manages all conditions of the area surrounding the eye, including the eyelids, tear drainage system and behind the eye itself (the orbit).

Hamilton Eye Surgery is a new and fully equipped specialist eye care facility offering treatment for cataract, glaucoma, pterygium and oculoplastic conditions. It is owned and operated by Dr David McKeag.

The modern equipment allows for thorough medical assessment and imaging of the eye.

Patients requiring smaller operations have the option of using the dedicated procedure room at the surgery. Dr McKeag also has appointments at both public and private hospitals for operations requiring sedation, general anaesthetic or an overnight stay.

The building is an extensively renovated California Bungalow, once owned by legendary Hunter region footballer Reg Date. It is now a purpose built and dedicated medical practice, with a fully restored heritage building and modern extension. It offers a peaceful and comfortable environment, in garden surrounds.

The practice is conveniently located next to Marketown shops, with disabled access and parking available on site.
